Managed to get it ready for maiden flight on sunday.

man, the power was awesome. from terra firma it just jumps into the air full vertical. It was unreal. more powederful than 60s glo. the motor was about 88 deg no heat sink, esc was 80+ and the batt was 55 thereabouts.

Sunday next going to yank it a bit.

BTW I sweat abit whenever I plug in the batt. Get a loud sparking sound.

Performance is very good for general flying, stable and precise.

Throw in a powerful set of electronics and i have no doubts about it's ability to perform aerobatic flying/3D

THe latest EP 8 pro 3D runs on 4 to 6s and uses Axi 2820/10 - 15T pinion or Himax 2815-1400- 10T, Hacker A30 10 XL- 15T.

I reckon it will need about 450 to 600 watt.
