i just broke my tail boom, then went back to the shop to buy spare tailboom...but dunno how to remove tail boom from body and tail motor...anyone knows how to remove it?thx...

In the case of FEDA, think most of them drill thru the original one bcos its glued.

If it's CA u can get a CA debonder at Rotor forl ike $7..
Else mike's method will work too..

nah,it won't work.
tried it before like an @$$hole but it did not come off.the boom is glued INSIDE the frame.
PITA to get it off
what i did but DO NOT FOLLOW
1) break off the boom
2)use a screwdriver and SCREW hard to remove the remaining CF bits
3) try your luck to glue it back it

thx for the advice...anyway its fixed ...flew it well dis mornig. ..but now i think main shaft bent coz alot of vibration plus main rotor also chip of abit...

Thats what i did too break it off 'dig' all remaining carbon road inside the frame and push a new one in. The problem is u got to get a new tail motor holder too since it stuck inside real hard. In the end i change the whole tail boom plus the holder to a DD drive. Sigh still cannot figure out how to get the " new" heli in the air.... thinking of sell it off since i don`t need it anymore.

haha, i had a crash too last night too, broke the boom, bend the shaft.

dd=direct drive. This done with motor with direct prop attached to it. It suppose to provide better tail respond. I change it coz i burn the tail motor too when i setting the right mixture kao!!! sighh. Now i have converted the heli into a futaba system and with direct tail drive. Spend about 150 on it coz everything goes separate but up to now i still have not figure out what pitch and head speed to go for it. 3 unknown to figure out, there r pitch, head speed and the right mix for the tail rotor. Damn sian dun know how to start. The heli pratically gounded for a month liao while i flying the zap. The zap just too easy to learn then figure out how to set up the stupid hb cp... crap!!!!

try and error is better then ground right. But when you have the mood then do it or you will ground it forever liao. I also no mood to repair.
maybe i also do some mod, no idea yet, see when i am too free.
