i think the innovator is not cheap

and the electronics cannot be reused. so that means if u eventually feel tired or bored of the heli u cant easily reuse the electronics including the TX/RX which is a big bulk of the cost. even the batts cant use normal ones..

if u want something that can just charge and fly. i guess u still can get this heli. but u miss out on alot of impt things which u can learn from setting up ur own heli.

if u want to dip ur feet in to see if u like the hobby, get a coaxial to fool around with first. then Upgrade to the best ur budget allows. innovator is not a cheap heli to buy and eventually find that u cant get into the hobby.

personally i wun bother with it. personally i started with a Trex HDE and never looked back.

            Cheers and good luck!

Innovator??.. Too expensive to give as Xmas/birthday present, too OOB/RTF for serious beginner, too proprietary for intermediate..

RC aeromodelling is a builder hobby.. hence, half the fun is taken out when it's all ready to fly..
