Trex 500 ESP Head setup problem.

hi guys

followed the specifications on the instructional manual for all the ball links length.

i place the link 19.5mm on the ball link.
couldnt get the swash to be 0 pitch at 1/2 stick. anybody know why?
please advise.

i notice the flybar arm is not parallel to the flybar. but i followed the specifications given on the setup manual.

The specifications are only a guideline. Since the servos are mounted vertically, not all servos have the same vertical positioning (horizontally usually centre). If you look at the Hirobo manuals, they give different link lengths for the different brand of servos.

So, just adjust the links to the correct length so that when the servo horns are sub-trimmed to 90 degrees, the swash is level. Then adjust the other links so that everything else that needs to be parallel is parallel.

Also, either switch off the pitch trim lever / dial or ensure it is centred everything you test. I had this problem and decided to switch it off.
