juz wanted to get an idea of the prices of a 'new' set from forum members so i dun get ripped off when i visit the hobby shops... (happens quite a bit to me btw...)

i got my SkyRobo (no wire) around Jan 05 for around $500 i think, sorry, lost my receipt, so not sure of the price.
Needs only a 4 ch Tx. Those brought in by SHS running on 40mhz.

other price info:

1 box of blade (4 set) around $12
(you need set A + set B)

Original batt around $80
other 2cell 720mah 7.4v around $42

Canopy aouund $12
Tail around $12
(hehe, the tree caught mine, thanks to some wind)

There is a clone version selling around $260
(heard some good and bad review)

Go for wireless and you can fly from room to room.
wired and you are trap.

i guess the basic rules apply for both, fly 5-8 mins and rest the heli,
or you will burn something.

And believe me, its a indoor only heli. too light for even a gentle wind blow.
But i still do it outdoor in very very very very clam clam condition.
( I did my maiden flight outdoor anyway)
