Hey guys.. i am thinking of getting the T rex, i have all the electronics minus the servos ... been thinking of cheap and good servos for it ...
What do u guys recommend ? Hs 55 ??
Any 9g servo will do the job.
HS55 most commonly used. $25 from Rotor
For rudder you will need high speed, Can use Himark MC-50BB ball Bearing .09sec/60deg. $25 from Jet or used HS50 $36 from Rotor.
Try HS56 instead.. u will need to drill some holes.. but the servos are much stronger than the HS55... HS55 gears strip too easily during crashes of the TRex.. HS56 produces higher torque too.
I am using HS 55 and HS 50 for my tail. But try using the refitting linkages or maybe use the smaller servo horns provided, because the bigger servo horn provided in the servo tends to cause slight unwanted movement because the hole is bigger then the linkage.
