Having the spindle holding area and the flybar carrier area as two separate blocks, then locking them together with 4 screws from the top.- Ensures very little allowance for mis-alignment when replacing with spares?
Using plastic for the spindle holding assembly and metal for the flybar pivot area- Allows for "sacrificial fuses" in really bad crashes?
Spindle is locked down- This prevents rotation movement and wear to the plastic head during flight? Ensures all of the wear stress and load is on the spindle and its bearings during flight?
I'm impressed. Where'd yu get your sdx from, bro?

I just love Hirobo plastics... The looks, touch and feel is completely different from any heli out there...
Engineering Plastic is what they called it i think...Losers whine about their best. Winners date the Prom Queen.

Thats a bloody turbulence D3 head on the EX!
EX-pensive indeed!
I will stick to my plastic head for now. It looks incredibly robust!
Maybe at most a aluminium head block in the future

I got it from SHS for $668.
They have it before the US even got theirs out.
But at that time not enough funds liao...
I must say that the plastic for the radio tray and head are incredibly
rigid and strong. Can see like sort of like fibers running through them.
The tolerance of the parts are spot on too.
No prep work like sanding, cutting, reaming etc.. were needed.
All the bearings and parts fall into place nicely!
So far its been a pleasurable and smooth build.
I am impressed myself.-Feda Dragonfly

On with the build...
Blade grips
The blade grips are that from the Turbulence D3.
I am not sure how it compares to the Evo's one.
But the following pictures compare it to that from the Freya Evo 90.
The material around the tail grips are thicker and bigger than even the Evo 90.
2 radial bearings and 1 thrust bearing...
Completed tail..
Thats all for tonight... didn't manage to do more.-Feda Dragonfly

These engineering plastic are actually carbon Fiber Reinforce plastic (CFRP). use on most better known plastic framed helis.. Depending on the type of resin use, some may feel soft when you bend them, but rigid when it's a formed structure.. Some may call them plastic fantastic, some call them engineering plastic, but they're generally fiber reinforce plastics. Hence, can be Fiberglass, Carbon fiber, Kevlar.. or a mixture..
The one use on Hirobo and Logos I think are Carbon Fiber..
Sadly, some people may see these (the softness) as inferior low quality plastics when such fiber reinforce plastic is use on less known brand..

Haha! How I wish I was bro..
Long time no see...
Now trying to figure out the mixing required for 135 on my non-135 9CHP.
