    I have been using the 1st one since day1,so the main gear is a tough 1 to wear out, if you feel meshing lose just adjust the pinion closer, to tell if spoil,is that some of the teeths on the main gear got disfigured, or become ultra blunt,you can also see alot of plastic shavings,
    all this can be seen in a main gear after a crash

            But for me , i'd change it when i think the gear is worn out its up to you really ...

              check your brass pinion, they wear out faster than the main gear

                  King 2 main gear will wear out, but will take quite a bit of flight and your pinion will wear out much faster than the main gear. Changing the pinion when it looks worn out can help to prevent the main gear from wearing out/failing prematurely.
