Which 500 size electric do you prefer?

Superb Fit
Good hardware (scews ball links etc)
Wire Management
Super fast head
Single Belt design

Disadvantage:
Fragile (depends on how u crash it also)
Stock 9mm main blade holders.. zzz..
Fragile plastic canopy

Bro. Only 3 heli Outrage G5(Nobody own this in Singapore), Rave 450(JYHELI) and SJM 325 LE(Phantom GT) can accept 350mm blade leh.

I chose Trex 500 ,bcos I like the metal head and my fren's also flying now, may I know what model of Zippy bat can use ? can I use 22.2V 5000 or 3300 ? and I have 2 ea of 11.1v 2200 , can I use on it ? Need Y wire ?

ANy problem with that. You only fly one heli at a time.
Is ok not to list Rave because you will have problem classify that heli as it don;t fly like 450 size.

Mine are the SJM360 and SJM360T1, both swing 360mm blades but also can use anything down to 325mm also lah...

Same thing with the SJM360 too, should be classified under the 480 class.. As stable as any 500 but response as fast as any 450 IMO...

What do you like about your 500 size? Design, mechanism, 1st impression, flying weight, flying characteristic or brand?

1. Personally I prefer the Alien 500ECF cuz;
a. it has a strong metallic upper frame that holds the electronics, motor & rotor head, making it a higher precision m/c.

b. The lower half's a carbon fiber batt. tray & skids. making it light & w CG around it's main rotor.

c. The tail slider tops it all, it's a rod directly link 2 the servo gear! No horns needed! Meaning there's less mechanical loss & no push & pull joints(That's how my tail boom broke on my 450SE, joints!)

2. I give it a 8.8 on scale of 10.
