I currently have only 1 battery, so I can only fly once. How many packs do you guys usually take to your flying sessions? Do you bring along your charger and charge in the field?

i got two batt. nv bring charger. to me two is juz nice. fly too long very the stress la.

I got 6 in my alu heli box. Most of the time, I use all in the session.
I usually prefer to start with 2 of my weakest/older packs to 'warm up' myself and refresh my orientation. Then, after that, i fly the remaining 4 packs a little more aggresively.Comment

I think for beginners, maybe better to buy lots of cheaper lipos than to buy an expensive 'branded' one. You need to practise more.Comment

Normally u required minimum of 2 packs. 1st pack get your "mood" up and then the 2nd pack satisfy your hunger. If 2 pack still not satisfy, then go for 3packs.

I'd make sure you have at least 2 with you at all times. Thts way if you have a problem you can always eliminate the batt by swopping it out.Originally posted by ewechye View Post

Just don't buy too many packs or else you will be busy discharging instead of flying.

u will know average how many packs u will use per weekends. Just charge accordingly will do.
The above theory does not apply to rainy days on the weekends
