    Align Trex 500 ESP

Anyone flying one? Care to share your personal experience?
I'm on verge of ordering one. Going to cost me almost $1.1K inclusive of shipping for this package.
Just curious, will there be additional tax for ordering so much item?
    Thanks.

GST? But usually when I order stuff from overseas there are no extra charges other than the stated shipping charges.
Biggest item I ordered was some lipos with DX7 TX and no extra charges.

Anyway anyone in SG flying this?

You might alos want to check and make sure the supplier isn;t chargin you "local" sales tax.

For example i know for a fact anything from the UK DOESN;t get the UK VAT on it. ( As long as the vendor can prove it's been exported, which is easy if they ship it to you)

Even in the states this could be 6 or 7 % depending on the state tax.

        Cheers

But even if I pay 7%GST, how do I pay it? 7% looks ok to me.The package if bought in SG will cost alot more, think its worth it even if got GST right?

Just get them to send it to you.

If it gets "caught" by customs you'll have to go and pick it up at the central post office and thats when you have to pay the GST. on the spot.

It's quite a straight forward process.

              Cheers

Freight forwarder will pay for you first and claim it back from you. I was slapped with 7% GST while shipping back my 12x.

u can ask them to declare the items less than the amount required to pay tax.

Otherwise u will need to pay the tax when u collect the items at Singpost

When the Seedpost deliver my S$500 four bladed head to me, he collected the GST from me in cash. If the supplier is willing to under declare, then tell them to do so.

But under declare also carry an insurance risk if package is lost in transit.
