I have yet seen both heli in person so I can't really offer any help.
What I can say or suspect is that:
TRex250 looks like direct scale down from their bigger TRex...especially the rotor head. With that in mind, I think TRex250 might have better rotor head design. If u ask me to choose, I will go for TRex250.

I have a mixed Gaui 100/200 model...I hate the tail design as parts can come loose easily. Although I have not tried the Trex250, I will choose Trex because I don like the Gaui parts quality.After so many years, I am still a beginner

have to note on all this small heli.
all screws are very small, screw thread are small too. you can't over tight the screw as the thread might be gone or the screw head will be gone too after you use glue to secure it.JR9XII PCM 72.xxx n XPS n FRSKY 2.4GHz
