i've seen that pic before. its a special jr heli built for setting distance records....flew from mainland aus to tasmania and back or something. the heli isn't actually in the full scale's rotor wash..the cam angle just makes it seem like it is. anyway, since it was setting a distance record, the pilot of the jr heli had to ride the full scale heli and control it from there..i remember seeing a pic of someone flying his piccolo inside a falcon business jet at 40 000ft

Ha a piccolo flying at 40 000ft the battery can fly that long !!!! even just for vertical climb to 1000ft may have a problme. That photo must be a ....

Anyway the wind along the way will blow it out of the sky

These 2 photos are real man. No camera trick...
If you look carefully, you'll notice that there are additional fuel tanks (not header tank) mounted on the fuselage of the heli. These 2 helis are specially built with the lighest material and carry fuel so that they can travel long dist.

ask NASA to fly a feda up in one of their shuttles and fly inside the cabin la...altitude record for heli liao...
