GY401 connector does not fit into the AR7000 rx?

Hi all,
The GY401 connector has a ridge on the connector, so it does not go into the AR7000 receiver.
Am I supposed to use an adapter?

Or am I trying to do something wrongly? Because I googled and see no mention of this problem...

Just use a pen knife and trim away that part, the only difference between Futaba and JR is just that.
