You may want to visit this site.

For what I know. 90 sizer can run on 15% nitro, but not sure if that's dependent on the weather temperature.. But 90 sizer generally runs cooler for what I've read..

I fly my YS91ST with 15% wildcat. No complaints, so far so good. Makes good power and have no worries.
It sucked with CP though. Ok, I'm biased. I don't like my exhaust leaking spent fuel all over my floor.

just curious why u would choose 15% over 30%?

Its just like asking, i bought a ferrari can i use 91 octane? The simple answer is ofcourse yes. But why would i want to do that... Thats the million dollar question.
i'm a rc sotong. And i know nuts about it.

because i have plenty of 15% nitro lor

its like i buy a ferrari and a field of 91 octane lor
do i still need to buy a field of v-power to feed it??
and 30% makes plenty of smoke and more a little power
currently, i do not need such power........

For YS on lower nitro, some say it runs rough, some say it runs fine. I am planning to run 15% on the 91sr.

As for OS on 15%, from what I have been told by those running 15%, its perfectly fine. Someone with experience on both even told me that the OS on 15% is stronger than a 91sr on 15%. Just in case you don't already know, the stock os engine comes shimmed for 15%. You need to install the other shim that comes with it to run 30%.

Fuse, low vs high nitro, I guess for some(like me), its the cost. I don't run a 90size yet, but from my calculation, before adding in the public holi, doing 5flights per weekend(sat+sun) will average 3gallons a month, which is 36gallons a year!!! Running 15% instead of 30% will save around $650 a year, which is 1/6 of the price of a mid-range 90size setup. If running 92octane instead of v-power will save a supercar owner 150k a year on petrol, I am sure there will be a few who will be willing to compromise, especially on singapore road when you don't need all that power.

Porsche Cayman.. It was in the local news.. saying that these owner saves as much as $30K on the car..

If I'm not wrongl. The CNG fitted Porsche is already on the road.

BTW. You're right about the cost savings. I down graded from 30% to 20% nitro.. For the savings, and no lost of power.. in fact, no difference to me..
