Thanks to some good words by almtmd and user reviews at rcgroups.com, I too got a Telebee/Zoom/Align Gyro. Some reported that it works perfectly facing the side (rcgroups), while others claim facing front/back (trextuning). But all agree that facing up is the wrong way, althought Align's doc says otherwise
.
I had it faced the side, static testing seemed to work fine. Any comment?
note: the metalic piece the gyro is sitting on is an razor thin aluminium plate, held down to the "grill" area by double sided tape (the same tape used to hold the ERP ICU to the wind screen, from 3M, could not trust any other brand.) Very light, about 1-2g only.
Am also looking for a good 2nd hand Tx and Rx (29mHz).
