My present setup on the Xtreme 50:

        Scott Grey Reactor X
        AR 7000
        JR 8715 on cyclics
        JR G770T/8900G
        HS65/JR 8900G on throttle
        CSM Revlock 30

Way too overkill a setup, i don't do much anyway.
        But why not.

        Thanx!

I was flying my R50 with the Hyperion DS20FMD on my collective, aileron and elevator as well as throttle. Works fine for all I need to do. Can't expect a superb responsive heli but enough to do simple task

Very subjective question. Some people learn better with a smaller heli due to less stress.
Some prefer learning with big ones because you get more reaction time since bigger heli are usually less responsive.
I have seen people fly wonderfully with R50, so means it all boils down to the pilot.

Er, that I'm not very sure.
But the .30 and .50 means the engine size.
For example, the Raptor 30 and 50 are same size but only engine diff, if I'm not wrong.
For the raptor 50 and raptor 50 Titan, the difference is the length of the tail boom.

                            blade length also differ
