    How to adjust idle for OS 50 Hyper

    The OS 50 Hyper since day one (Jan08) already having
    high idle speed when start . Just ignore because want to fly .

    Now would like to adjust the idle speed , OS manual said that
    to do so adjust the mixing control screw .

    Some how can not manage to move the screw

    Hi,

    If you read the manual, it did say the low end needle screw is secured with thread lock. You need to use a strong flat tip screw driver, press it firmly and then give it a little twitch, and adjust very little at a time, like half mm each move.

      Instead of playing with the mixture control, why don't you try to trim your throttle first to see whether it helps.

        Just to add, loosen the screw(left side 1) 1st b4 adj the L.E.N, cause its the holding down screw to secure the brass? plate thingy?, if u dont, u wont able to turn the L.E.N, then by force u might stripped the '-' slot.

          you need a suitable screw driver to turn a new idle screw. Preferably, something like a philips test pen type, where the hand grip is larger and the tip fits just nicely into the slot. A short metal ruler can work also.

            Thank guys

            I got it .

            1) loss the Hex Nut .

            2) Find a suitable screw driver , I buy a big test pen .

            3) Will try to use the TX to trim first ...
