Trex 700 is made in ROC. Taiwan.

Flying so far so good. Basically it is a trex, not a stratus or vibe so dun expect so much from it. But I think this heli can take some beating.

Rotor hobby $860+ after 5% member discount.

Quality and fit of the major components like rotor head, drive train and main frame bearing blocks is actually pretty good, its the little bits that is quite disappointing. On mine, its the canopy, ball links and balls and tail rudder control rod. Metal quality(rust resistant) of the main and tail shaft also not as good as other brands.

As for flying...the cyclic and collective is FANTASTIC. The tail seems to be lacking a bit of authority with the stock tail blades I am running, but that is the only complain I have with regards to how it flies.

While rotor has increased their list price for the 700N to $940+, which means now close to $900 after discount.....

SHS brought it in at $850 before gst...which means that after discount around $840

I think it will be a lot more visible in the air.

While the $49.90 ones don't look good with the long windscreen, they actually look quite good when installed on the heli.

Still waiting for walter to stock the plain white ones, but looking at the way rotor is moving...I guesss it will be a long long wait.

Got matching blades The yellow colour on the blades and canopy are the exact same tone and shade. Sure feels different in flight compared to the 710SB, despite that they come from the same factory.
