    Need help on futaba transmitter

    hi to all,

    recently i encountered a prob on my futaba transmitter.
    im learning how to set up my heli recently. most of the time my fren help mi to set. I realised there is sub trim function only on channel 1-4
    i trying to do levelling for my cylics. bt i cnt sub trim my pitch servo which is on my channel 6. any kind soul here to advise mi??..

      go into the manual and use the trims there. You may want to use end points also.

        If i may assume that you are using the Futaba 6ex equivalant, i might be able to tell you why.

        The 4 "sub trims" are not really sub trims at all. They are basically extensions of the 4 trim buttons on the surface of the Tx. Where the trims on the surface move by steps of 4 (if im not wrong), the "sub trims" move these same trims by steps of 1.

        The sub trim channel which trims the ailerons basically moves both the left and right cyclic servo at the same time. The only servo which will be able to trimmed on its own is the elevator servo. Best you can do is try to achieve the same angles on each servo arm and live with that.

        Another solution is to get a servo horn that gets you the closest to center for a mechanical centering.

        I believe only the Futaba 6EX has this limitation. Almost all other brands had trims for each individual channel.

          yep bro..
          im using the 6ex... the subtrim controlled both the alieron and the pitch..
          guess i HAVE NO CHOICE den bt to live with it...
