    Ikarus Eco 7

Hmm anyone see anything about this ?

Saw it in the pages of this heli mag, judging from the pictures it's a 400 size. I'd scan the page in if only my scanner worked...

It's apparently got modular mechanics that fits into an integral jet ranger body which looks very very nice .....120eccpm (with ccpm mixed board available ) with seperate fixed pitch and motor for the tail.

The tail of the jetranger has a twist lock mechanism so the boom can be taken down for transportation.

That's all i got from the mag, anyone else heard anything about this ? i'm guessing the modular mechanics system will eventually be sold in a fantastic rance of scale bodies and stuff.

Here is a link to the Ikarus German Website. Seems to be packaged as a RTF complete set and the price is quite steep at around ~800Euros.

Also another link to another forum showing more pictures of the Eco 7.

From the package, looks to me that its not a full pledge heli......more towards micro...or mini???? any video

Wow, this is cool... it looks more like the size of the EP Concept man. The zoom is just a hair bigger than a Feda.
I saw the thread a few months back but never heard of any news of it thereafter... so surprised to see it on sale online

At least on 7 cells not a burden on the wallet and charger. The price also not bad lah, 800Euros amounts to around S$400. Thats like the cost of RTF Feda!

Quite dissapointed with the speed 300 tail motor. Expecting a belt drive or something. But with that motor on it, tail thrust won't be an issue for sure!

Mike if you scrolled down the piccolo mag thread, there is a link to a 4min video. Looks good in action
