How are the performance of both ? I only know T-rex 600N made in Taiwan,Other is made in China , spares can find in here.

I think i can comment.
I used to own both.

Both the Rex and the X5 are fantastic helis.
They fly great, and spares are well priced.

Why am i flying a X5 now? Well, i like shiny stuff.
At the price the local dealer is offering, its more worth the cash as you are getting more heli for the price.

Quality is top notch, though slightly harder to build as compared to the Rex.

On initial spool up on maiden, the X5 reacted and sounded alot more smooth.
Ive yet to wring it out, but cyclics are fast.

but for a flyer starting on nitro would the xtreme 50 be recommended.
As most of the post are saying that the xtreme is better in performance. So im thinking if a flyer jus starting can start on that heli???
