    Lama stock Tx good enough?

I have a Lama3. I like this heli but I have difficulty with the stock Transmitter trimmer....it always run out and have to re-trim again for every flight. Wondering a better "digital trim" transmitter will help? Anyone has such experience please advise. Thanks.

If what you meant by the trimming is off is that you accidentally bump the manual trims on your tx, then yes, a digital trim is avoid this problem. Most higher end tx with lcd screens should have this option. An easier solution is to store your tx properly and dun let any children at home, if any, to mess around with it.

If you are talking about the trims maxing out on the tx, then the solution would be to manually adjust the servo arms to get to a better position.

Yes, my Lama is all stock. As for the blades, I think it not so much free play as I only fly it a few times. Does the free play contributed to the trimming?

I just need to trim every now and then even I never accidentally bump onto the manual trims on the Tx.

Yes, previously I also face the trims maxing problem but I have somehow solved the problem.

Anyway, beside the trim... please advise if a good Tx could make our flying of the Lama easlier as compare to using stock Tx? Anyone tried please comments. Thanks.

Thanks boo_saa, it is really a useful link. I will read all and try out again.

So, I think I will on hold for "new" Tx purchased first....using the stock Tx should be good enough for Lama...I think...

Its not the TX, its your battery. Everytime you change a batt, the CG change too.
