Guys.. can the govenor mode be set on without using the programming card?
the esc manual dun say.. but the programming card has this function. can advise? thanks.

The Programming card is needed to:

1) Set Gov mode on and off.
2) Select 1 of 16 very "cheesy" startup tunes.
3) Switch off those "cheesy" tunes

Everything else can be set by the Tx "stick and Beep" method.

broe, just askin, dat gov mode is 'ON' by default rite? even though i use the throttle stick to reset to default?

By default (New from the shop) the gov is OFF !

You'll need the programming card to switch it on and off, ...resetting it via the throttle stick does not change the gov setting ! ...nor the musical one

hmm when can we upload midi to our esc as music?

one day we will have polyphonic startup tones

then slowly we will have mp3 startup, with speech for esc programming

alamak all along ive been in non-gov, dat y broe johndyl test my heli and said sumtin wrong wit my governor. last week i grap the prog card and now my wife laff at the music #13 lov is blue i set on the esc kekeke...

I advise, go for better brands for bigger heli like CC, MGM, Kontronik, Schulze, etc.... Jus to be on the safe side.


For sport or leisure flying of 500size n below, any china/taiwan brand will do.
