Honey Bee 2 Blades and new HB FD?

Am trying to temporary replace the wooden Honey Bee 2 (HB2) blades with the Honey Bee FP blades as I keep destroying my wooden ones. Won't be flying inverted, so I think the plastic blade should be okay till I get the hang of it and then put back the lighter wooden ones.

Anyone tried to put in a FP blade on a CP heli before??? Any suggestion is welcome.

Another thing is that Esky has another HB FD (Flying Dutchman?) heli on:

The only diff I could see is that this new 5006 kit uses 9.6V NiMH battery instead of 11.1V Li Ion or Po batteries.

Once I decide if I want to keep this hobby, will go for a larger electric heli, most likely a Trex 450X or Zoom.

    Cheers!

So long as the blade grip can hold the blades, it should not have any problem. U may experiencing better lifting power also but of course the flight time may change also.

U can't do inverted flight also.

"Downgraded" to a FP Honey Bee (or Hummble Bee or Humming Bird) FP plastic blade, it looks okay and manage to lift off. Must trim a bit due to the different torque it created with the new pitch angle.

Will practice with this more robust blade till I can hover better. These ultra light micro is very sensitive to wind!!!

      Cheers!
