To those who want to fly at old holland road but keep on getting chased away by the police cos of the illegal parking, there is a place for you all to park.
Yesterday sunday, I rode my bicycle down with my heli. There was a plane flier I saw, who told me that at 4pm there were at least 3 police patrols around the area. They saw him flying his electric aeroplane but did not stop him as he had come by bus with no illegal car parking. While I cycled, I realise that there isn't any spot along the road to park, as the lines are all unbroken white ones along OHR and Brizay Park.
However, at the lower end of the field opposite to where the cars always illegally park, there is an old abandoned road which is barricaded by a small concrete barrier. Approximately 1/4 of the barrier has been broken off, and I did see a guy drive his Toyota Altis through with no problems. This opening is very small, so I do not know if larger cars can pass through. This old road can hold over 10 cars and serve as parking for those who still wish to fly at old holland road.
