    Rotor Blades Scratched the Ground

Guys, my blades scrapped across the ground earlier this evening.
Some wear and tear on the blades shrink wrapping?

How can I patch it back ?

Or do I need to get new blades?

p/s: Never let your dad play with your heli!

but the bits and pieces of the film starts to make flapping sound once at higher speed.

u check for the pitch n tracking of the blades 1st, if everythings are still the same, then means ur damage is veri minimum. dun need to change blades.
if the pitch n tracking go heywire, most probably u need to change them.

As for the change of sound, it doesn't matter as long as ur pitch n tracking remains the same. unless u are really particular abt the different pitch of sound

You better scotch taped the wrapping to cover any opening on the wrapping.. Otherwise, it will tear off when air force their way through the gaps when your blade is spinning..

think i'll have to tape it up and do the tracking/pitch measurements again...

Yes it will, but unless if you can notice the difference.. A little tape and or CA won't create much of an impact lah.. maybe off balance by 0.0xg
