    GY240 on HBK2

Anyone have tried using a GY240 on a HBK2 with the stock Esky Transmitter and Receiver ?

Will the AVCS mode function properly as per intended ?

GY240 has no remote gain control, so, don see any reason why it should not work.
After so many years, I am still a beginner

Am awared that only GY401 and above comes with the remote gain control. However, GY240, 401, 502, 601 and 611 all come with AVCS which is the Head holding mode.

Heard from someone that he had tried a LTG2100 but seemed to encountered compatibility issue with the stock Tx and Rx. Would want to be doubly sure before buying or else

LTG2100 have a remote gain adjustment... which is why may have problem with stock TX/Rx.. where 240 is manual adjust.. thus should not be a problem

You can definitely use a gy240 with your stock tx. I've tried it successfully before when I still had the stock tx.
