22 months back I got the Mikado Logo 500 when it first release, and eventually tried the VSTABI verion 1.x...sold it eventually.

Now I am happy to be back.
Just got my Mikado Logo 500 3D VBAR head, will be using it with my VSTABI.
Hopefully this will aid my flying skill...( very slow progress ).

Now looking at the electronic to go with this.

Congrats man. I went to see steve today hoping to get the L500 vbar set but you bought it a day ago?!? knn. Nevermind so I bought my second L400 vbar. I think he is bringing in the 500 SE.

I am on 8S, currently testing out the 2 * Hyperion G3 25C 3300mah 4S in series.

Using a Z30A motor for now....will need a better one.

Real Flight

Finally got a real good flight this morning with the following confguration..

Mikado Logo 500 3D with VBAR Head and original Mikado painted canopy
- Scorpion 4025-890 with 13T Mod 0.7
- Carbon tech 560mm blade and carbon tech 85mm tail blade
- HG-D751MG Digital Ultra Torque * 3
- JR8900G * 1
- CC85HV
- Western Robotics Hercules BEC High Current
- Hyperion G3 3300mah 4S Lipos * 2 ( for 8S setup )

Not bad...I think my pinion is not secure enough, or my cc setting is not right for the scorpion yet. You will see from the log the headspeed drop after one minute, and then drop further from 2200 to eventually 1700/1800 rpm. Need to fix this....but first got to get a few more packs.

But this is BIG....got to get use to flying bigger heli.

On the heavy side...but

It is on the heavy side of 2.945Kg, but spinning with 560mm blade.
