strange thing happened to my esc and motor

im using hobbywing pentium 30a esc and 450th motor

when i start to take off...
throttle stick at 0-strange sound from the motor
throttle stick at 1/4-strange sound from the motor
throttle stick at 1/2-strange sound from the motor
throttle stick at 3/4-strange sound from the motor
throttle stick at full-the motor turn at full speed

when the blades still spinning,i can use the trottle freely
but when the blades stop or low rpm

the same thing happened...

Happened to my stock Mini T ESC. My symptom is not strange sound, but the motor jerks left/right and cannot spool up. Happens when ESC is hot.

After that one day, the ESC completely cannot work.

Sounds like esc settings not done properly or compatibility issue

i have downloaded the instruction manual from the internet
but it never mention leh....

btw have u calibrated ur throttle endpts??

i dun know about the settings
maybe i accidently set somethings to it
but the factory default should not have such problems

i just downoad the instruction manual
later will see into the settings lor

hopefully, i could rest the esc....

if possible set the motor timing to med or high for the 450th

i had the same problem. sometimes got sometimes don't have. once the motor manages to start up, no more problem. but i dumped that esc and bought another

Yup,

Throttle up, the motor jerk Left & Right,

Manage to find one of the connector with dry joint. If you notice, when 2 of the 3 BL motor wire are connected only, you will have this effect.

Check the connector for dry joint, it will give you high resistance after sometime when the temperature of the contact gets hot.

the problem is the motor and esc is new... not hot

you might have to set your esc timing to high. the manual recommends so. some other motor might need low or medium. it really is quite a bit of trial and error. also check your motor connections.
