Hi guys,
I am new in this hobby and quite curious whether nitro helicopters can be flown anywhere in the open fields or there is a requirement to join club and fly only in authorise areas. Thanks in advance for any kind soul who can help to clarify my questions.

by right need to join club to fly, in fact I think it holds true for any r/c. However, as long as its empty field and safety is taken into account, it is fine. The key point is SAFETY+NOT DISTURBING OTHERS WITH THE SMOKE AND SOUND...although I think I am guilty of not upholding this all the time

Nitro Heli can be flown anywhere so long as there's no complains or in close proximity to crowds, childrens, schools, main road, Aunties and those with a "sore eye" etc.
