TRex: Favourite Main Rotor.. plus comments

Hi...

For those who have tried all multiple main rotor blades... which is your favourite main rotor? and why?

Here is my personal comment:

The ABS blades is very rugged (close to indestructable?). But tracking sucks if no modification is done. It is heavy and therefore, eat more battery power.

The Wooden 315mm blades is light and longer and has higher lifting power than ABS. Weak point will be it is very fragile.

If u ask me to choose between both, I think I still go for the 315mm. I sure would like to try 335mm wooden blades. If they have carbon fiber blades like Hornet II, even more want to try it.

I vote for the ABS plastic blades. Very tough. I've had tipped landed several times and the blades just flexes when hitting the floor. Had several blade strikes with other objects and only the spindle or feathering shaft got bent. The blades are not damaged at all.

Both stock wood blades only survived single or blade strikes.

Does anyone of u tried comparing Wooden 315mm blades with ABS blades in terms of:
1 - Stability
2 - Flight Response
3 - Lifting power - Thus quick climb up.
4 - Power Consumption - Thus flight time.

- I know I need to increase my head speed...
- I know I scrape the cement floor twice today.. it it didn't have a scratch. The woodies will at least have lost it's skin.
- It is less responsive... So I had to reduce my DR "compensation"
