looks like XL with some SE components. the gears and part of the main rotor are SE, along with the body and the blue anodized bevels.

ya it is an upgraded xl not a SE v2.., in fact i think it doesnt even have a single SEv2 part

the metal parts for a sev2 are of a darker blue

As stated in the heli modifications, the metal parts are replaced with XL plastic parts. The reason is to avoid damage to the precious metal parts as the owner is still at beginner level. We do know that newer V2 metal parts are of darker colour. The main difference that differ SE V2 from SE is the tail metal housing's design.

Most senior Trex XL flyers would rather spend the money on the metal rotor upgrade rather than the body upgrade because body upgrade does little to improve the flight performance eventhough it is cheaper compared to metal CNC rotor upgrade. Attached is the CNC parts which was taken out from the heli and preserve in bubble wrap by the owner. Thanks.

Anyway, I have made a mistake in the battery spec. It should be 18c instead of 15c. So sorry for that. The Trex also has extra Align 4050kv motor and Align 35A ESC. Hee hee...

then why did u list it as a SEv2?

The SEv2 has more upgrades than that that improve flight characteristics, u can do a read on overseas forums. I can name at least one other upgrade other than the tail slider. And thats the upper head assembly(rotor hub, grips, thicker feathering) make for a much stiffer head and better flight characteristics.

changing the xl frame to any frame with direct servo to swash linkage(not only the SE or SEv2 frame) will reduce slop and improve flight charactertics, but that's only after going beyond hovering

I think you can check with RC Expert why they list the Trex as SEV2. The heli is bought from their website. Thanks
