LAMA V3 keeping going anti-clockwise direction

Dear all, I need some help and advise.

I have this LAMA V3. It was flying ok - no problem. After a while of not flying now started again, but the heli when powering up with tail facing you, keeping turning anti-clockwise, even if I trim the transmitter all the way to the right, it still keeps turning anti-clockwise, if I give it full right, also no effect, full left makes the heli spin on the spot.

How any advise how to solve this problem. Thanks.

change Ek1-0315 inner shaft A with a new one, after awhile the plastic part on the shaft will loose its grips on the shaft.

Trim the proportional gain. Sometimes the motor heat up then will have slightly different RPM at a certain voltage. Use the Xtreme motors. Got ball bearings and can change brushes.

                    Bro, consider this !

The co-Axial heli has 2 sets of counter rotating blades.

                    1) If one set of blades has more pitch or rotate faster than the other, the heli will turn in the rotation direction of the blades with lesser pitch or lower speed (Untrimmed condition ! - undesirable ! )

                    2) If both set of blades has the same pitch and same speed, the torque cancel each other out and the heli holds it heading ! (Ideal condition - desirable ! )

                    3) The secret of Life !
Many have search but few have found the true meaning of life ! .....or really trimming your V3 to fly totally hands off, Tx put on the floor and walk away for coffee type of hands off !
                    Clues:
                    * The V3 blades can have pitch increased or decreased by bending them slightly.
                    * The propo trim pot on the 4in1 is best set at the position where both motors are running at the same speed.
                    * Flying your V3 for longer than 7 mins at a streach will really make them FAT and shorten their life !
*If you find the true meaning of life while flying heli..... AH ! ....you're really has enlightenment !
Seriously running out of ...Storage space !

sorrie to highjack this thread, i had some question to ask.. hope the expert can give more advised....

1- how long is the flying time from the stock lipo-battery last, i notice it's quite fast drained out...

2-by using the stock charger that come with it, should i leave it a while more when its indicate it fully charge ? because when its fully charge, i feel that the battery is not hot due to charging that normally a battery would...

3- wht battery is recommended to buy that can last more flying time and ard whts is the price and izzit also can use it on the stock charger ?

4- by from one member stated that , recomemder not to fly more then 7min in a straight go as it will spolit the lama in which parts ?

                        thanks

I think the stock will last around 10 - 12 min max. I m using the xtreme motors with stock lipo. Lasts around 15 min.

A lipo should NEVER be warm or heat up during charging not even at full charge. It is a different case for NIMH or Nicad though (they should be warm during charging.)

U will need to find a lipo that fits in the battery tray. I think 30 - 40. Some 1250mah lipo will fit the tray. Look for lipos with at least 10 C.

The 7 min is because the stock motors will heat up very badly. The finger can't even be placed on it for more than 1 s after a full run down. The esc and Lipo are ok though. They will become warm or slightly hot. But still acceptable. Go for the xtreme bearing motors. They run alot cooler than the stock and they cool off very much faster. My motors were only warm to the touch after a 15 min full flight.

Ehh just a note. I find that my esky servos are developing quite some play in the gears after like 15 flights? They weren't like this during the first few flights. Check your servos for any developed play. And this will most probably be the reason why you can never get to trim your V3 nicely. I've since replaced the stock servos with 2 9grams servos. Haven test it yet.

how much is the exterm motor cost and does it need any shouldering ??
and which LHS can get it easily ?
