haha ..... i have G3.5 and i must say , its blast too fool around with . Ive yet to see someone do a piro snake in reality one mode 1 yet. I do hope you will be the first

RF4 is so cool...heli can go into water de...btw, not sure if the dominior is the same one as in 3.5...coz if it is, that is not how 90size feel like, coz its too powerful. Peter niotis came out with a updated dominior that was still slightly too powerful, or so I read.

let me guess...the whole heli turned into a lump before it hit the ground and all the plastic pieces on the boom broke off? The world was suddenly so silent even before the heli touched the ground? Though I have to admit, you were bogging the heli quite a bit yesterday , it isn't just a issue of management/power...it might also just be bad luck that when you bog the head the blades decided to fold themselves...or the blades being too loose in the grip.

Metal grips...not sure if its going to reduce chances of boomstrike...but I am sure more power will

This is the 2nd time my R50 exploded in air (the last time due to bad align blade) ..

Was doing piro tictoc and Bang! Tail boom strike .. heli came down w/o the boom!

The o-ring (90 durometer) was also found to be ejected from the mainhub.. could be caused by the crash tho...

However, ive to admit that this is probably pilot error .. the results of bad collective/cyclic management .... argh .. not easy to learn..

It happended this morning .. gonna do more thorough check to see wat could have caused the boomstrike .. now too demoralized to even fix it.

Hey.. part of training man! dont give up! Check your plastic blade sleeve, if any cracks? possible screw's at the plastic blade sleeve broke off causing blade to flew off and hit yr boom.

Blade sleeve still Ok.. few possibilities .. bad/not enu lube on damper, plastic blade grip flex, bad management of collective & cyclic (most likely since im flying on +-13 and +-7 cyclic) ..

consider my heli, it is probably cheaper then your repair. And ou can use most of your parts on mine. And you will end up with a lighter heli and you can give more punch to it.

just finished building up my rappy ... been out of action for a long time. Now with JRG770T and 9254.. looks quite good.
Just curious, for OS50Hyper, I realised I was on about 2 turns clockwise.... is it too lean? previously while flying I find the bottom cover kinda hot .... too rich will make the engine hot too???
Btw anyone got 9254 in very good condition letting go? My 9257 on my T500 gave way.... crashed

wah.. 2 turn.. should be rich.. what about the high end needle.. Center, left or right?

have been flying at 1.25 or 1.5 at most turn with high end needle at slightly close at about 2mm from factory set position. Can see water condensation during cool weather.. But hot during hot weather, but touchable

dont think its easy to provide a figure .. there're too many variables .. even if its the same engine model .. cant expect the needle settings to be the same

really gotto do some trial and error .. fly it to feel/hear it
Im relying on carbsmart for 'in-flight tuning' tho
