just a quick question does it matter what hole you put the ball link in on the servo horn becuase in the instructions it had a template to cut out and i drilled holes on but i saw this pic and the ball link is on the out side

so i was just wondering does it hake a difference(more pitch)

When i was setting up my RJX hurrican, Frank told me the 2 rods should be equal lengths and parellal. I forgot whats the resons thou

The most important is that the two links must be EQUAL in length. the wider or narrower distance on the servo horns will affect speed, torque, mechanical exponential on the resultant output.

Do also check there is no binding.

So, what does it means? Should the ball link screw inner or outer from the center hole? The servo horn diagram in the manual seems to look smaller than the HS635 round servo horn. I used the existing screw holes on the servo horn. Although don know whether its is right or not.

Can don use this round servo horn? Does the normal "straight" servo horn works on this setup?

Also, don understand why servo horns affect speed & torque? Is it something to do with the blades pitch?

anyone knows the gear ratio ?
the only info i get from manual is
front main gear is 42T
rear main gear is 61T
one way bear 19T?
pinion ?
motor kv ?
and does it run on 3s or 6s lipo,
from skyhobbies site, it stated 3s2p

Yes you can fly the Hurricane using your existing 3S packs in series (so those 400 size heli flyers can save on lipos!)

If you need 6S it will give you a longer Flight Time.

The Demonstration video (at our website front page) done in Taiwan uses 2 3S Lipos giving you that length of full 3D flight time as clocked in the video (unedited from take off to landing all in one cut).

All The Hurricane spare parts will be arriving this week.
But we will not be carrying the 550 Motor as spares unless required.

GUESS WHAT GUYS as soon as i got home from school i rushed up stairs and got my hurricane and went straight to the garage to fly. i took a few minutes setting up the gyro in rate then HH, lifted off the gound and started spinning i nearly shit my pants and thought thats it. All i had to do was put it in reverse.

I HOVERED it from left and right, did a few punches. THIS THING HOVERS WITHOUT YOU HAVING TO HOLD THE TX it stayed in the same spot and to finish i did a little auto from 2m and landed beautifuly right in front of me.

CANT WAIT FOR BISHAN ILL open up the throttle a little.

oh and my flight time was about 4.5mins and but if i didnt have to set up it would be around 6-7mins
