I keep on seeing post about using superskids for CP2. If your intention is to replace the weak carbon rode landing skids, there are alot of ways to do/replace/mod it without spending too much money.

What u need to do is just to replace the carbon rode with something else.

I maybe wrong but I assume your CP2 landing skids are those like GWS Dragonfly's type of landing skids design.

Here is a very old post that I posted here before using cloth hanger metal and also using bicycle tyre spokes...during those days when I fly Dragonfly. I can't find back the old picture of it. But you should be able to get the idea.

I Believe if u really want to, you can come out a way to do it.

Yes those cloth hanger metal (just a metal rode) is heavier than carbon rode BUT it is like indestructible. When bend from crash, just bend it back to the shape u want.

BTW, that weight is considered minor and your CP2 sure can lift it up.

Using cloth hanger metal rode is just an example. Maybe u can find a better solution. Bottom line is that... if u can transform from one item to another item and yet cheaper, why not. It can help u cut cost.

The original landing skids are made from 2mm carbon rods, if you want to beef up the landing gears, try subsitutiting them with 2.5mm carbon rods.

....or if you're one of them who dun believe in "landing" ....than get the 3mm carbon rods !!!
