    Hi Stress,

It's not like we do not want to reply to this corner, but i suppose that it is difficult to answer the questions when we have had no experience with the shop you mentioned. ;) And we do not want to give a biased remark ;)

Well, i would suggest getting the belt cp if u can afford it. It should be more stable due to it's size. My cp2 is a bit twichy. Thought i solved the collective pitch issue. But it came back to haunt me today. Imagine hovering happily and it suddenly jumps up.

mtnbikefreak, try using 2S lipo packs. It should remove the problem. I don't encounter any more sticky pitch problem, for two months now.

Stress, here's the comparison between the two heli:
CP2, smaller, motor driven tail rotor, uses three servos, RTF, cost less.
Belt-CP, bigger, belt driven tail rotor, uses four servos, ARF, cost more.

Both heli has their own good points. It all comes down to your budget.
Share the joy of flying . . .

Hi, thanks for the tip. Are other users facing this too ? Tried inverting the washers, adding 2 washers to reduce the freeplay and even ensured that there is no friction when all the links are removed. But once i start hovering, sometimes it would still hop up or suddenly twitch in midair. I'm suspecting interference since my wireless router is nearby. Running at 72Mhz.

Getting a bit fed up with this problem. Worst case, i'll upgrade to the bell hiller to eridicate this.

Please note that the Belt CP is about the size of a Trex and the CP2 is essentially the HB FP but with a collective head.

I've got a couple of CP2 and only managed to setup and trimmed one up to my satisfaction after several months ....the main problem with this heli lies with the motor driven tail ! ....it simply can't compare with the larger belt driven helis !

...But if you die, die must have a HB FP sized heli .....then I recommend you have a look at the Hummingbird Elite Pro 3D (Jet Hobby) .....this one is very close to the CP2 but with a shaft driven tail.

Have tried several different main rotor "blades" ....Seems like only the original wood or CF blades will work (Light enough) ....a pair of modified Align Trex ABS blades seems to be too heavy and the sticky collective problem reared it ugly head ! ....and yes, the lower HS from 2 cells reduces the problem.

Glitching is sometimes caused by dirty Tx pot. To check, move trim to left or up. Do not use this test on throttle. Then fly the heli applying stick to compensate. If glitch is gone, the Tx pot is dirty.

Open Tx and spray contact cleaner through the pot. Blowout cleaning solutions. I open up the pots and clean using Goo Gone solution. Then wipe clean with tip of clean cloth.

                            Tail Motor Fail

                            Hi,

I think I got my tail motor burned for the second time. Like to know if any CP2 owner can share some experience. Is this common on CP2?
