New Hornet tail blades.. home made.

got bored last night so decided to try and make some tail baldes out of a sheet of 1mm CF sheet that I had .
a lot of cutting underwater and shaping and cover with CA ( at this stage) thay look ok ..they fly great are about the same weight as the stock one ( about 0.51 g heavier) but are quite a bit stiffer.

all up they took me 1 hour to make but a lot of fiddling around with the water and outside!

yes it has an airfoil shape ..the trailing edge is so sharp i cut myself on it!!

I dont just have one I have two black cats !!!! both look alike!! hahahahahah Bits and button are their names

You sanded the flat piece of CF until you get the airfoil you desired?

nice cat! I have 2 black cats myself. One is Hitam Besar and the other Hitam kecik. Translated from malay to english it means Big Black and Small Black

I've had a number of black cats over the years and found them to be more attached to people and more loving than other coloured cats. I have 5 other cats hehe!
