      hi YZY,

Thank. but like 90 & sparrow one for 2mm pinion required to use green LocTite 680 retaining compound. i looking for 2mm pinion which do not required any green loctite.

ok sorry why don't you trust loctite?? its a long surface area it should not slip just twist the pinion on not just slide it on

          hi yzy,

jus to confirm with you. currently i have a pinion which got it from NTC. 9T (2mm) with green loctite. but only label as 9T only. not sure is 2mm pinion.

          then i try as shown,
          1) its jus nicely slip into the my himax 2mm shaft. is not tight at all. can move freely up and down. (so is this normal? )

          2) then i try to shaft into the stock 400 zap motor (2.3mm). the pinion its far too small. (so is not 2.3mm pinion.)

So is this normal for thistype of 2mm pinion?

          thank you.

Yes it is totally normal just clean the shaft and twist the pinion on the bond will be very fast so know until what point you want it on till.

Let it cure for 24 hrs i heard unless u want your pinion to slip

Btw i saw JB weld at Hobby shack today if i not wrong it is better than loctite
