    RTF TRex?

Any thing like that? Just wondering.....A 100% RTF Trex....lazy to get parts

    #2
Don't be lazy leh, it can be fun to build also. More importantly you will need to know how each part fits together so that you will know how to repair them in future.

There are video clips by Bob fin which explains step by step build procedure and a great source of information. Below is the web site:

Alternately you can also use this detail build guide by Trex Tuning.

To have a RTF Trex, you will have to engage the LHS to build for you. Try asking around, I think RCE Hobby and Radio Control Sport offer such service at a price.

Final word...Build yourself leh...if you run into problem, just post in DH and there will be plenty of help. That's the only way to learn and have a sustainable RC hobby.

It may look hard at first, but in fact, they are quite easy to build..

To me, building a bird is a very enjoyable process..

Bob's video is at the HeliFreak forum pages. I think you have to register as member before you can download the video. I just tried the like and it works for me:

The other link 'Trex tuning' should be ok

Thanks for your update. My Trex comes with the rotor head almost fully assembled. However, the factory don't alway do a good job. Better to recheck every thing including alignment and especially missing locktite.

i suggest that you dont get into the hobby if your not willing to do some fixing, assembling and hands-on action...
moreover a collective pitch heli has lotsa things to adjust/ tune and is much more complicated and time consuming...
fixing, repairing and replacing parts a must, esp when u crash...
                  its part of the hobby...
i decided to call my heli crippler cause it always ends up cripple after every flight session...
                  superglue is my best friend...
