    Picoo Z Exploded while Charging

Has anyone experienced this? Please be careful while charging!

While charging, place it somewhere which won't catch fire easily. And, far far away from children, even though it's classified as a toy for ages older than 3yrs!

Must be treated like all Li-Po batteries!

this is a common lipo problem, normally happens when you have excessive discharge the batt on the previous cycle....in the case of picco z once it cannot hover with full throttle, stop. dont discharge anyfurther....let it cool then charge...

      Charging Connector Heli-side

Incidentally, just realised that the charging connector on the heli-side is a male connector instead of a female connector!

This increases the chance of shorting the built-in Li-Po battery, which would explode instantenously in such event!

One example is if you accidentally tried to connect the charger to the heli in the wrong direction. In case case, if you used too much force, you may bend the heli-side connector's pin, shorting the Li-Po battery.

And by fact of this, never use any conducting object such as a screwdriver to straighten the heli-side connector's pin.

I experienced it once. Not with my PicooZ,but with my Micron V2.I placed it beside my heli & charged it.All of a sudden,it exploded & burnt the main & tail rotor blade .Now have to wait for rotor to bring in the heli together with the spares. The sad thing is......I used it for only 10 mins when it arrived from US .
