    hey ...Help

hey peeps out there,....badly need your help...i got a hb(FP) this year on june...havent flown properly as my Os are around the corner...so the problem was that i left the battery at the transmitter and later found out to my horror that the battrery was leaking...so i quickly took out the batteries and wipe the battries chemical from the battery compartment which is in the transmitter...and just today.., i tried to play my heli ,i was disappointed because the battery compartment had rusted and now i just tried putting in the new battries , there is no sign of indication that the transmiter is ON...so is it possible to buy just the battery compartment or must i buy the whole transmitter again.... if any1 of u can give mi or sell mi just the compartment i would be more than delighted....NOw feeling sad to the core..
Peace out...hope u ppl out there would help mi...

on of my Aircon remote got rusted due to the batteries inside and it did not turn on. What I did was just clean out the rusted already... and it worked fine...
hope that helps... buying a new Tx would be a waste of money... since its only rust that is causing it not to operate.

      Alonso,
You can buy a battery tray from Sim Lim or Rotsr. Take the metal contacts and replace them...should only cost you about $2-3 only.

If you really are cheap skate (like me), just take out the metal contacts from the battery compartment and sand or file away the battery residue. Not a big problem. No need to even make the trip down to Sim Lim.

Don't buy a new Tx, save it for upgrading your heli! Good luck!
