It's not RTF. If you want RTF, can go for this

This Hummingbird Elite 3D PRO ARF is only "Almost Ready to Fly"
      Check here : http://www.heli-world.com/detail.aspx?ID=286

It only comes with the brushless outrunner and ESC..

This is DEFINATELY not a "Outta box" RTF heli ! .....you still got to get 4 servos, 1 TX & RX, 1 gyro, 1 BL Motor, ESC and batteries.

It is a Shaft driven tail rotor, CP heli that is about the same size as a HB CP2
....Nice things about it are the metal alu bits on the head and dual deck alu frame chassis.

Got one but just dun have the time to fix it up !
Seriously running out of ...Storage space !

but seriously...the electronics will make up the main bulk of the cost and it will vary depending on the brand and performance of the components...

if you really want an electric heli that can fly outdoor, i think a reasonable budget would be in the region of $900 to $1000.

You are right, ...most times, the heli kit makes up only about 30% of the total cost to get the bird flying !
