          I am thinking of getting a easier 4ch heli to improve my skill 1st. I currently got 2 collective pitch helis. (Dragronfly 36 and art-tech 3D falcon) Both are quite difficult to fly.

              FP and CCPM micro heli will be slightly/more difficult to fly then notro due to the weight..

              As for the coaxial heli..

              => esky lamav3 can easily get spare from rotor and jet..
              => Dynam Vortex-IV skyhobby
              => lama5-4 or 5-5 => not sure.. hear it can use the came parts as esky lama

              btw, flying the coaxial heli is totally different with normal heli..

                Cyclic are more sensitive with collective pitch. Flying a heli is difficult enough, not to mention flying a heli that is not properly setup. Make sure that all linkages, throttle curve and pitch curve (that is if you are not using stock radio) are setup correct. You should be able to get a stable hover with good setup(collective pitch).

                      pardon me..you are downgrading to improve on your skills?

                      i think, its better either to invest in a simulator or time on your current helis..

                      dunno about the Art Tech, but the Walkera 36 is quite a decent heli to start with..and quite a lot to learn from there..

                      i really don't advise downgrading to a 4ch heli..the more important part is to know how to troubleshoot and setup..

                      even if you can control a fp heli, coming to collective pitch heli is a totally different ball game..

                      just my tots..

                        I am only trying to get a feel of having a full control of a heli. Maybe to build up confidence 1st.

                            Thank you be89z.

                            I will move on with my 2 cp heli once i get a feel of hovering around and getting full control of the heli. My ultimate target is a raptor 90 series heli.

                              hmm..that's what a simulator is for..

                              guess you'd prefer to fly the real thing..

                              yes, flying a heli needs some discipline and patience..
