Then i think you'll be better of shopping at Toy's R' US then.... You find more help with the staff serving you.
Generally, SGD$50 can't get you anything much. If you're looking to start off in the hobby of flying ur own electric heli, i guess ur best bet would be a complete set of Lama from the LHS(The Bell-47 from skyhobbies is going for around $200 and a customer service to beat). These heli are NOT TOYS. Though they are low powered, but they can still cause serious injuries if you're not careful. Especially when there are kids around.
The ones that the mega toy store sells, are boring. They can only move up and down. Forward or side motion is either non-effective or practically useless. If this does not convince you to get started in the bell or lama, you can find a whole lot of information on the toys that you are looking for. Just type TOYS in the search...Losers whine about their best. Winners date the Prom Queen.

Later I read on fourms that the E-Sky Lama V3 is both easy to fly and can enjoy the fun of flying in the house if can't go out. So I got myself one, like it very much.
After sometime with the Lama I build up confidence and finally attemp to repair and convert my CP into a honey bee FP. Now I can at lease hover the bee and don't have to always land by crashing.

Hi hdellk,
I think what actually happend might be like that. This is based on my person experience.
I started with Honey Bee CP2 and back then, I swear that it was an impossible heli to to fly. So I moved on to Trex.
Trex was alot more stable and easier for newbies to manage. Having said that, I still have to go thro' the learning curve of hopping around with ping pong balls. It takes a few weeks before I managed to see progress and gradually I was able fly the Trex.
Even then, in the back of my mind, Honey Bee was still impossible until one day I decided to remove the training skids and give it a try....Wala, it was not as difficult as I originally thought it to be. Much to my surprise!
So, while you were fly the lama, you have improved your basic stick control skill and when you returned to your HB it felt more flyable. The heli remains the same while your skill improved.
I think if you change it back to CP version, it will be just as easy your modified FP.
This was my experience with my CP2.

Am also a newbie. My 1st heli is a Hirobo XRB. Great heli. Tough guy. Survived numerous crashes. But I guess it's an overkill after I see how the Lama V3 flies.
2nd heli 2+ weeks old only. Trex 450XL SE. Can't hover yet.but received alot of expert advices. So am enjoying it. Have a fren who flew a humming bird as 1st heli and he drop the hobby shortly after a disasterous crash.
So if you're really into flewing a heli.... dun cut cost at the beginning. dun let an unstable heli kill the fun.-----------------------------------

Heli B - Trex 450XL SE
