my 611 eats up juice like nothing...2 flights and I'm about done.....lost rudder control on the 3rd flight last week......autoed down and prevented a $400 crash

Time to bring a 2nd battery pack and a field charger huh?

hmmm. are you suggesting that i may have a fault with my battery which is intimitantly cutting power to the gyro and or servo? that could be quite logical. i will try another higher mah battery and let you know.

A good size batt to use is the sanyo 1700 4 cells....light...small and should be able to churn out enough juice for 3 flights

Hi James, ....that may not necessary be the problem, but no harm in systematically eliminating all possible causes ....sometimes the problem is cause by the last thing that we thought could possibly be the cause !

....Hope you got a Battery monitoring device on that bird !?
