hi friend... GWS dragonfly is a relatively stable heli for beginners, i've been flying it since and not to mention pros fly it too... well, comparing it to HB CP2, i guess you've read it on the website... you might want to contact the guys and ask for viewing.... i strongly reccomend you it, parts are easily replaceabl.

i'd advise that you don't get a fuselage first untill you can do a proper hover... you wouldn't want to waste the $$ when you crash

            Excellent choice !

Eric (PIPS) is one of the best Dragonfly heli flyer around in Singapore whom I've the honor of meeting !

Watching him fly will give you the inspiration to get going on your heli !

will it be better if you use a head lock gyro instead of rate gyro ? Colco Thunderbird have a similar motor driven tail using head lock , GY400 ... what do you think ?

nah, you dun really need it for dragonfly cos first its a fixed pitch heli... i feel if you're doing 3d with heli like trex, than more likely its better to get a head lock gyro... further, i feel its better for a beginner to learn how to control the tail as well as learning how to hover.
