JR 9XII with Honey bee ??

Hi, need some advise on using JR transmitter on Honey Bee.

I was using the optic 6 with my honey bee CP2 and it works fine. Recently I sold my Optic 6 and purchase a JR9XII which I plan to use with my Trex and HB.

However, I realised that the channel assignment for the Honey bee is different from JR Tx. For example, JR 's throttle is on channel 1 whereas HB has it on channel 3 etc..

Any advise if there is something if anyone has experience using the Honey Bee with JR Transmitter. The frequency used on the Tx and Honey bee Rx are the same.

    Thanks ...

what rx are you using? is it compatible with your jr?

For the Honey Bee, it is the stock 4-in-1 type, therefore I cannot swap the channel to match the JR Tx. For my Trex, it is ok as I am using the JR Rx.

If you are using 4-in-1, then you are in for trouble......You need to hard wire on the RX of your 4-in-1. Seperate your RX from your ESC in the 4-in-1 and use hardwire to reconfigure the channel assignment....It's quite a bit of work.....

You mean to swap the channel internally by rewiring the channel 3 to the ESC and channel 3 to the Elevator internally....woh!...tired man!

Maybe just sell off lor....kinda still like the CP2.

Actually, for less then $100 you can go seperates......Buy 2 brush ESC (18A an 10A) and a micro gyro (used $10 to $30). Use the original RX and wire to Main ESC, Gyro and Gyro to tail ESC....there, CP2 seperates electronics.....Mine is brushless for main...It's a challenge......

This is what I did when my CP2 4-in-1 burn out.....Using an external brush ESC ($18) only....the rest of the electronics stay......

You are good man! ...I prefer easier solution as my honey bee is still working fine except that I need a 6 channel TX to play it since I sold my Optic 6.

Either I get the stock Tx for the CP2 (6channel) which only cost $60/- or maybe, just sell off cheaper loh!

What is your CP2 frequency? I have the stock CP2TX on 72Mhz.....

I have two 4-in-1....The new one is 35 Mhz which works fine and the spare one is 72Mhz....Maybe can borrow your Tx sometime so that I can test out my spare 72Mhz 4-in-1.

                          Thanks....

                              Hi all

I not sure about the 4-in-1... but assuming it is the same as Futaba, which is Channel 3 is throttle, then u might want to confirm the shift (+ve and -ve) also. Futaba and JR shift is opposite of each other.
