A cheap setup would probably be with Castle Creations Pheonix 10, and a Himaxx 2015 bl motor. Should be able to get it at about $200 at our LHSs??
I'm thinking of selling my Ph10 & 2015 set too...PM me for more info.
"With great powers comes great current draw"
and "With great current draw comes pocket $ lesser"...so you'll probably need 3cell lipos too!

hmm i thought the cybercopter is in the range of the Hummingbird Cp range....if it's the size of the Zoom, then u'll definitely need bigger motors!
You might even need 3S2P for longer flight times![SIZE="1"]

Hi Heli Friend
Last time I saw that chopper in Rotor shop, it looks like it is using 400 brushes motor. So, if u want to go for Brushless, u need to go for something like Himaxx 2025 with PHX-25 or AXI motor.
I remember I saw the tail blades and it is FLAT!!! Rather than symmetric shape. I not sure about the main blades. If it is flat also, then u really need fast speed to lift off.

i am just wondering if this motor would be powerful enoughto flt cybercopter
BRUSHLESS MOTOR(SR20L-4200) (ESC-15A) Voltage RPM /Volt Internal Resistance Max.
Efficiency Max.Efficiency
Current Shaft Dia Shaft Length Weight
7-10 cells 4200
RPM /V 112 80% 5-10A 2.3mm 10mm 52g
i saw this from championhobby and i know they always cheat so i am asking here first.
